As I came down for lunch, I caught sight of ‘Croc’ sunbathing not more than a metre outside the dining room door.

The recent ‘cold’ spell saw two flocks of birds take up residence at the fish-ponds adjoining our house. At first glance, they looked like someone had hung rags on the tree in the distance. A closer look showed they were two different species of birds, one white and the other black.
