The weather has definitely changed, with some pretty heavy thunderstorms in the last few days.
Along with the rain has come an upsurge of demonstrations by the Red Shirts and an accompanying sharp increase in the number of column centimeters dedicated to local politics in the Bangkok Post.

The last couple of days have seen nice cool weather here in the eastern suburbs. Night time lows of 16°C and daytime highs of 23°C, coupled with humidity at around 43%, rising to 50% as the day progresses.
When ‘winter’ is gone, I’m going to be looking back at this rather wistfully.

It took its time, but finally the mercury has gone below 20°C in Bangkok. Last night, we hit a low of 17°C where we live and at noon today it was 21°C. Humidity 49%.
What a great day!
